Malaysian Institute of Estate Agents (MIEA) is the recognized body representing all Registered Estate Agents in the country started in 1974.

OBJECTIVES of the Institute
To represent members on all issues of practice with BOVAEA, relevant government agencies, associations and to be the voice for Practitioners in the country.
To unite and protect the interests of all Practitioners in the profession.
To promote the code of conduct, ethics and maintain high ethical standards of practice.
To safeguard and protect the interest of the general public against fraud by practitioners or persons not authorized to act as practitioners.
To provide training, education, examination, technical and general knowledge for all Practitioners.
To mediate disputes / conflicts.
To provide a platform for networking and business development.
To encourage, elevate and maintain a high level of professionalism amongst practitioners.
To work towards the establishment of the Board of Estate Agents Malaysia.
To eradicate illegal brokers and malpractices.

Furhad is a REALTOR® with 36+ years of experience, specializing in residential and investment properties. A Global Instructor who taught in, three International REALTOR® Conferences of which NAR was a Strategic Partner [2015 Manila Philippines, 2016 Seoul Korea and 2017 Bangkok Thailand], also in Cambodia, Thailand, Mongolia, Dubai and Philippines as recently as June, 2024. Currently teaching in Ukraine & Philippines. Scheduled to teach in-person, in Cambodia & Philippines again in October 2024.
NAR Level: Elected NAR Regional Vice President in 2011. Chairman of Global Business Alliances in 2013. NAR President’s Liaison to the International, Resort & Second Homes Real Estate Group in 2009. Teaches ABR®, AHWD, BPOR®, CIPS, CRS, ePRO, GREEN, GRI, MRP, MS&LG, PSA, RSPS, RENE, SFR® SRS, SRES, and more. Served on numerous NAR Committees, including Executive, Strategic Planning, Issues and Mobilization, Communications, Equal OpportunityCultural Diversity, Fair Housing Policy, Public Policy Coordinating Committee, Credential and Rules Committee and all Global Business Alliances Committees. Trustee for Region 6 on REALTOR Party Campaign Services.
